SPOT A SPOOF WEB SITE
1/10

Learn to identify spoof banking Web site:

First of all, it is more likely you will end up on a 'spoof' or fake banking Web site if you followed a link in an email.
So the best solution to avoid a spoof Web site, is not to follow a link, but to type the address of the bank in yourself.

Also, always keep in mind that it is VERY unlikely your bank will ask you to confirm ALL your security details. Phishing emails usually pretend that there has been a security breach and that you need to confirm your details - the likelyhood is, if that were the case, you would have heard about it on TV!
